Civic Space Jam #10
This Sunday, Valley-based DJs and artists will come together for the Civic Space Jam at, where else, Civic Space Park. The tiny park in downtown Pheonix has become a cultural hub with weekly Friday night concerts and, well, one of the city's most unusual sculptures hanging overhead. The evening will feature DJ sets by Rani "g," Sean Watson, Dirty Jeans and Ariel. Artists will be painting live, and guests can munch on free food from La Cocina Economica and Otter Pops. People are encouraged to bring picnics, water guns, Frisbees, water balloons and anything else you might bring for a night in the park.

Alex “Djentrification” Votichenko and Anthony “HartBreaks” Hart are bringing together a few of their favorite turntable jocks -- including Sean Watson, Dirty Jeans, Ariel, and World Famous Rani G. -- to kick out an eclectic and eccentric mix of music during the latest edition of this ongoing monthly jam session at the downtown Phoenix gathering place. Joerael Elliott presents live art, a dance battle will be held, and free paletas and Otter Pops will be served in case it gets to damn hot.
